Year 4
Sparrows are all looking forward to our India Celebration Day
on Friday 16th October, when we will all dress up in Indian
costume, perform our dance (the music for 'Nimbooda' is here for
you to practise with at home) and take part in many exciting
activities around the theme of Diwali, the Festival of Light.
Dear All,
I hope everyone is staying healthy and happy this week, getting plenty of rest and eating well.
To keep your minds active this is the perfect time to
be learning those timetables in readiness to put yourselves
forward for certificates. Remember, you can earn DISTINCTION by
practicing the inverse operation facts for the times table you'd
like to be tested on... go for it!
If your research brain is bursting this week you could find
out about electricity... what is it? How was it discovered? How
do we use electricity in the home? How does electricity get to
our home? Who invented the light bulb?
Why not keep a diary to keep your writer's flow flowing... or
paint the view from your room in fine detail - How can you best
describe Ankara in Autumn, using your senses?
I'm looking forward to presenting many certificates when we return; happy home learning!
Ms. Hammond
