Tree Planting Day
Saturday 6th May 2006 from 14:00 to 17:00
In the last few months, it has been
necessary to cut down some of the trees in the woods as
they have become old and dangerous. In the future, more
trees will have to be removed. Therefore, the PTA has
arranged a Tree Planting Day so that the trees can be
replaced and so maintain the character and benefits of
the woods.
A selection of broad leaf and conifer trees has been
obtained and these will be available for planting. Holes
will be dug in the appropriate places. The cost of each
tree will be 10 YTL to cover the purchase and transport
of the trees. Each family will be allocated one tree. If
there are any spare trees, these can be reserved by any
families who wish to plant more than one tree.
If you would like to plant a tree, please fill in and
return the form below in an envelope marked PTA Tree
Planting to the school reception, not later than
Tuesday 2nd May 2006.
