DEAR PARENTS

This week it was very nice  to have breakfast with so many parents!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to parents and having the opportunity to discuss many of the very important issues which affect the BESG Community. High on the list of things we talked about were:

- BESG secondary school
- Transition and moving
- Tests & reports
- English national Curriculum.

Thank you for your suggestions and comments. I look forward to making Breakfast with the Head teacher part of a termly tradition next year!

ACTIVITIES FOR A FUN SUMMER!

Please find attached a long list of fun activities to do with your children this summer.

- 100 Activities and Ideas for parents and kids to do over the Summer Holiday!

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to our Year sixes who were successful in obtaining places at the following secondary schools: BUPS, BIS, Oasis and to Charlotte Cheragzade who has passed the exam to get a place at Kent College Boarding school.

PORTFOLIOS

Thank you to all parents and children who participated in the Portfolio Presentation afternoons this week.

PASS CARDS

We will soon be preparing the BESG pass cards for next school year and so ask you to provide us with your photos as soon as possible. Thank you.

SKIPPATHON

Well the day dawned bright for the first ever BESG Skippathon. The children were very eager to be out promptly at 1:45 and from then on they were skipping, jumping and laughing all the way until 2:45pm. Teachers encouraged the children to try to reach goals, skipping club children demonstrated new tricks and even the parents joined in at 2:30. Well done to all involved. Remember, skipping is very healthy, so now those ropes have been dusted down... keep on jumping over the summer!

FPTA NEWS

I am very pleased to announce the new FPTA chairperson is Mrs. Mary Suphi. Good luck to Mrs. Mary Suphi and the new FPTA committee. If you would like to get involved with the FPTA please contact Mrs. Suphi.
