FOCUS OF THE WEEK

This week we have been thinking about how we behave at lunchtimes. The children have been reminded of the lunchtime rules.

VISIT TO KARATAŞ PRIMARY SCHOOL

On Wednesday 23rd April we visited Karatas school to participate in Children’s Day Celebrations. We enjoyed getting out of the city and visiting a Turkish village school. Our children sang songs and recited some poems. It was a really interesting experience for our children. We hope we can host a celebration and invite the children to our school in the future.

YEAR 2 CHILDREN RECITE A TURKISH POEM ABOUT CHILDREN'S DAY

Red Lions - 212
Yellow Tigers - 251
Blue Boars - 92
Green Dragons - 259

SCHOOL TRIPS - Reminder

Please let the teachers know in writing if your child will not participate in our school residential trips.

LATE ARRIVALS

I have noticed that there are a number of children who are late for school every day. Please be aware that school starts at 8.40am and the number of days late are recorded on children’s final reports.

If your child is late for school they will miss out on important teaching and learning.

SHINING STARS

Each week the teachers choose children for special recognition. Their pictures are displayed in school on our shining stars display board. Here are this week’s Shining Stars:

Y3 Nina Wright
Eren Kutluberk
Y4 Alistair Burton
Dominic Weisser
Y5 Nikki Wright

Y6 Ceylin Torgay

Congratulations!
