FOCUS OF THE WEEK

This week we have been thinking about what it means to be healthy. The children have really enjoyed themselves exercising, cooking and walking to nearby restaurants and Sports centres. I have enjoyed cooking with all the classes and I am very impressed with the children’s cooking skills.

DOG KEY RINGS

Thank you to everyone who bought a key ring in support of the Dogs Trust and Gölbaşı Dogs home. We raised a total of 781 YTL. Also thank you for the very generous donations of dry dog food, bowls, towels, blankets and toys for the dog home. We will still accept donations of the above items until the end of next week when Year 6 plan to deliver them. Bring your donations into BESG Reception area.

SCHOOL FEES REMINDER

I would like to remind you that if the school and bus fees are not paid by close of 18 April Friday there will be 3 % interest charge in your next bills.

I would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Börekçi owners of Mezzaluna for their generous invitation of lunch. Their staff were fantastic with our children and we all learnt so much about healthy food and restaurants.

A big thank you to Mrs. Gürel and Ms Gamze Cizreli, owner of Big Chef. We had a great time and were amazed at the children drinking the detox fruit juice! Thank you to all their staff.

The children in Years 4 & 5 visited Renewa Health Club. Thank you to Mrs. Laity and Cigdem Erdogan who made this possible.
