FOCUS OF THE WEEK
This week we have talked about looking at problems
and taking positive steps to solve them. The children
heard the story of Odysseus and the Cyclops and learnt
that though they may be small, they have good thinking
skills which can help them to solve problems!
 CHINESE ROLE PLAY AREA
Come and visit the Role play area and see the
beautiful Chinese artefacts and art work on loan from
the Chinese Embassy!
HANNAH SUTHERLAND
 One of our students, Hannah Sutherland is well on her
way to becoming a published author with recognition from
a leading geographical Society! Hannah who has published
two books about rocks and fossils has now caught the
attention of Rockwatch who plan to use her work in the
magazine and on the website. Call into our library to
have a look at her books!

MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT
 Two students from the BESG have successfully passed
Grade 1 & Grade 3 exams of the Associated Board of the
Royal Schools of Music. We would like to congratulate
Helma and Helsa Niranjan and their Piano teacher
Mrs Hande Peker.
