BUS SERVICE: The Study Group runs a bus service in the Cankaya, Gaziosmanpasa and Oran areas. The bus service is door-to-door, with a maximum of 15 children on each vehicle. A monitor is employed for each bus. The bus service is entirely self-financing and fares are set in September each year.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS: The BESG is governed by a board of volunteers which determines policy, delegates executive, supervisory and instructional authority to its employees and appraises the results achieved in the light of the goals set by the Study Group.

The Board consists of a Chairman (appointed by the British Ambassador), a Treasurer, the Headteacher, two Staff Members, two Parents Governors (elected by the parents), the PTA President and an ex-officio Governor (appointed by the Chairman).

The Board meets regularly and also holds an Annual Governors Meeting designed to allow an open forum to discuss their work and the life of the Study Group.

BIRTHDAYS: We enjoy celebrating children’s birthdays in school, and will help to organise the distribution of any party invitations. However, this will only be done where every child in the class is invited. For their birthday children can bring in cakes or sweets to share with the whole class.

BUSINESS MANAGER: The Business Manager is appointed to deal with all queries regarding fee payments, finances and items relating to services such as school buses. He is available from 8.45 am during school hours.
