APPLICATIONS for entrance in September are considered in May by the Governing Board. Children of staff of the British Embassy and its affiliated bodies are automatically accepted. Priority is then given according to the pupil’s (and parents) level of English following assessment. Priority will also usually be given to children who have already begun their education in an English-medium school.

Applications for mid-year entry are considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be referred to the Governing Board for final approval.

An application fee of £100 is payable prior to applications being considered. Upon the offer of a place a non-refundable £750 registration fee must be submitted to confirm the place. An application form is enclosed or available from the Study Group office.

ABSENCE:
When a child is absent from the Study Group for any reason, parents should inform the school, and if appropriate, contact the bus monitor.

ALUMNI SOCIETY:
This has been set up for all ex-pupils. Full details are available on the website.

ATTENDANCE: It is important that children arrive and are collected on time. Even a few minutes late can mean missing an important introduction to work. The school day is as follows:

Nursery 8.40 am to 1.00 (arrival from 8.20)
Reception – Year 6 8.40 am 3.00 pm (arrival from 8.20)

The lunch break runs from 12.00 to 1.00

Parents must ensure that they collect their children on time at the end of the day, whether at the end of the Nursery morning, normal time or after clubs (see below).

ASSEMBLY is held each Monday morning, usually led by the Head. This an opportunity to gather the whole Study Group together, present awards, give out notices etc.

Over the course of the year, each class prepares an assembly which presents aspects of work covered by the class. Parents are invited to attend.
