Eye Tests

Sight tests are important for children, especially up to the age of 7 years when the visual system is still developing and problems can be corrected more easily. As I have noticed that the ‘vision’ section of pupil health forms have often been left uncompleted, I have recently agreed with an ophthalmologist, Dr Aydin Yulug, to undertake eye screening in school.

I have sent forms to all parents regarding eye tests and have noticed that some parents who originally expressed interest have not returned these forms. I have therefore extended the return date until tomorrow, Tuesday 12th December. After this, no further forms can be accepted so please be sure to return the form sent last week and money if you would like your child’s eyes to be tested. The eye screening will probably take place Monday 18th December but I will confirm this by e-mail to you in the next two days.

Yours sincerely
